This morning we woke up from our final sleep in Finland. We had a great breakfast before heading to a reindeer farm. Just about all of us had never seen reindeer before. They seem as though a cow, pig, and deer had mixed. We got to feed them as they chomped with their big mouths. Our guide tells us that lichen is like chocolate to reindeer.
Afterwards, we made our way to an indoor fire. At the fire we drank coffee and tea as our guide told us what it was like to herd reindeer. After that we went to see a picture of a man biting a reindeers testicle, this was an old practice for castration I guess. For the rest of the day we will be traveling. First, a flight to Helsinki. Then from Helsinki we will travel to Copenhagen, our last city. Good news is we get to sleep in a hostel with 4 friends to a cozy dorm-like room.
