CSBSJU Finland+Denmark

We experienced rush hour in Copenhagen this morning on the way to the University. We avoided a bike crash as most get to work via bike including our host – Ulrik Wagner. The University of Copenhagen is one of the top three exercise and sport science in the world. We listened to a lecture prepared by Ulrick and toured the research facility with four students. Dr. Wagner’s one research interest is how to get exercise built into the work day. They invited our students to a party at the University room we sat in tonight. We then toured the Medical Museum and saw some creepy body parts and learned a bit on how they trained surgeons – in Denmark barbers were the first surgeons. Lastly we ended our day on the canal system in Copenhagen to see some of the sites by water.
